The location of where we hold our pain in our bodies is very telling and can reveal the way we individually process our trauma.

You will have a unique class with specific poses and breathing techniques individualized to your needs. I will incorporate the styles of yoga listed below in the next question.

    • Vinyasa Flow - A fast paced style, linking breath with poses in a dancelike movement, this type of yoga is amazing for getting out pent-up tension and anxiety.

    • Slow Flow - A more mindful and methodical approach to “flow,” this style cultivates your mind-body connection.

    • Deep Stretch - We focus on luxuriously holding poses for 3-5 minutes, which helps release tension, enhance range of motion, and improve flexibility.

    • Restorative - This style incorporates the use of props to enable your body to passively hold floor poses for multiple minutes which then accesses a deeper level of tissue in the body bringing immense relief.

    • Breathwork - Depending on what you want to work on in your practice, I will lead you through various breathwork techniques to bring clarity of mind, stress relief or even a burst of welcome energy.
